I am running RiscOS 6 softload over VA & similarly, if I leave SpyBot running
on the XP side, I sometimes, though not consistently, get stalls or even 2
RiscOS 6 windows when I try to load VA. Presumably this is because SpyBot is
continually checking all routines & interferes with the set-up. I have to
remember to exit SpyBot before loading VA.
