That's interesting - what's the CD serial number of the  install
you are using. The best idea is to take a look at the  file:

HostFS::HardDisc4.$.!Boot.Utils.Version/txt

This will  contain the equivalent CD number for your install
plus any upgrades that have  been applied.
 
I am starting to suspect that the PrintPDF problem(s) are a red
herring and are unrelated to HostFS as the same problems do
seem to happen on "real" machines from time to time.
