I changed the battery on my Alpha 1 (Clevo) a year or so back. The battery
I bought came with a fitted non-reversible 7 way connector so I didn't need
to do anything except plug it in. On my old battery, just dug out of the
cupboard, the colours are black, black, green, yellow, yellow, red, red,
but, where the wires come out of the battery container, I have noticed a
white wire as well ;-(
