Thanks Charles. If by "container" you mean the casing which holds the
individual cells together, I can't see the wires exiting as they are wrapped
in a shrouding. 
I presume your new battery worked "out of the Tin" so [erhaps you could tell
me the source for future reference (off list if you wish).
