Yes, and another problem file is 'prn.zip', so a similar reason?

Thanks again, Brian. Now all I have to do is work out how to use the free
trial download of Disk Explorer Proffessional. It seems rather different
from the Norton Disk Sector Editor I used for years at DOS level.

Is this a problem that VRPC could protect against?
