OK - so it's not app specific - that helps.

In the first instance we need to see if the print job is entering the
Windows print queue.
 
Open the print quue for the appropriate printer (under XP this is
done by going to Control Panel, Printers and Faxes and then
double clicking on the appropriate printer). As a quick thought is
this prenter set as default? If not it might be worth setting it as
such.
 
Now with the Print Queue open start up VirtualRPC. Switch to a
Window and reduce the resolution from the Display Manager (so that
you can see the print queue window and the RISC OS desktop).
 
Now try printing from RISC OS. A file should appear in the print  queue
called "RedSquirrel print job". Does this file show up?
