Here are a few thoughts, which are of general application to Mac/VRPC  
users:-
1) OS 10.5 has a number of issues for Mac users anyway, and a number  
of favourite Mac apps keeled over when it first came out. A lot of  
the upgrades are actually bug-fixes for older apps like AppleWorks,  
Adobe Photoshop and older Microsoft-for-Mac efforts. If it ain't  
broke, don't fix it. iTunes is a case in point. The newest flavour  
kills my Airtunes setup stone dead, so I've back tracked to iTunes 4.  
I'm not using a "multi-media center" or an iPhone.
2) Back up all your home folder, and to an archive/install of 10.5  
and then only update to the penultimate (10.5.6) upgrade. Try this link
