I've not seen any such advice - was this from Virtual Acorn or from 
Apple, or somewhere else?

I now find that Virtual RPC-Adjust will no longer start on my Mac, and 
I'm blowed if I'm going to go to all the hassle of downgrading OS X. 
Is there a fix to Virtual RPC-Adjust in prospect?
