[Virtualacorn-list] Mystery carriage returns

One of the benefits of VA is the ease with which I can swap in and out of
my Virtual desktop to my Windows XP desktop. (Although I would prefer to
use RISC OS all of the time I live in a world where from time to time I
need to use software under Windows in particular to check whether my web
sites display correctly on Firefox etc.)
The only problem I have with this is that /sometimes/ on returning to the
RISC OS desktop I find an uncontrollable carriage return which always
requires a reboot. By this I mean that on opening eg a Zap or Ovation Pro
window the caret rushes to the bottom of the page and the window then
continues to scroll downwards at high speed. A series of <Escape> presses
temporarily fixes the problem but it then lies in wait ready to pounce
again just as I am doing something important.
I have swapped programs in and out on both sides and am now trying a
third keyboard in case the problem is hardware related. Aaron was unable
to shed any light on the forum so I am asking here if anyone else has
seen this and if so have you fixed it?
