I have occasionally seen a key go into auto-repeat and refuse all
blandishments to stop. So have to reboot.

Aaron has sent me an update to deal with keyboard freezings but I have
chickened out of trying it in case it wrecks my existing usable, though
not entirely stable, set-up.

I have backups onto an external disc but I wonder if there is a way of
setting up a parallel environment for testing? (VARPC 1.6.6 with RISC
OS 6.14.)Tim________Yes, I've had this too, quite frequently on VRPC-SE RISCOS 4.02under Windows XP. It definitely isn't the keyboard as rebootingVRPC fixes it without rebooting windows or physically moving any keys. Also the doc gets auto saved with all the additional feeds.(Sorry about the formatting - stupid online yahoo formatting).Barry
