In view of the deluge of justified criticism, I have tendered a profound
apology for not doing the tests I had been asked to do, even though I
had given a reason why I had failed to do them, that I was frightened of
the consequences to my machine and did not know how to deal with this.

Can you please accept my heartfelt apology?
