Dear Aaron & Tim
Please bear this point in mind — the discussion has been very helpful  
to other readers of this list in that
1)	It helps to know that you can offer fixes with particular  
configurations of both Macs (that's me) and PCs when strange things  
happen;
2)	That it is easy to make and use a backup copy of both Virtual RPC  
and the "HardDisc4" so that one can experiment; and
3)	There but for the grace of God go I. [Abraham Lincoln — it is  
better to remain silent and be thought by some to be a fool, than to  
open one's moth and thereby remove all doubt.]

Curiously I get the same phenomenon with my real RiscPC when my KVM  
switch gets confused with my Mac Mini. Usually one key gets "stuck"  
and I have to stop it using Control-break. I know in my case that the  
reason is that I'm asking too much of the KVM switch, and that the  
USB conflicts with the PS2 calls. This is of no relevance to this  
situation, but it's ironic all the same. You may ask why, with VRPC,  
I need a KVM but the VRPC runs on one of my powerbooks, not the MacMini.
