This is the third keyboard I have used with this machine and all been
associated with this problem. The first two were old basic keyboards
although the second did have volume control buttons; this one is a new MS
branded bottom of the range wired keyboard. As you surmise it does have
special buttons for web browsing etc, not that I use them.
