Interesting. My Choices.Default.Boot.Tasks is empty, and a search in 
!Boot for an object called WinCtrl finds nowt.

But wait ... here's a backup directory $.BootNnnnn which must have 
been created on upgrading to Select. It contains several things which 
I obviously should have copied over at the time, including, I'm 
pleased to report, the Absolute WinCtrl which, after execution, causes 
Alt-Gr-dclick-Select to act as described by Aaron. And "VA Windows 
Controller" now appears in Task Manager's list of Tasks.
