I apologise for butting in at the point, however not all versions of  
VirtualRPC
ship with the VirtualAcorn Windows Controller (see the products page
on our website). It's normally supplied only with the StrongArm  versions
of VirtualRPC.
 
So those running VirtualRPC-SE or VirtualRPCAdjust won't normally
have the Windows Controller in their boot sequences.
